Walk: Vanishing Moabit:Wedding with Alexander Steffen | Quartiersbüro Beusselstraße

The city photographer Alexander Steffen directs attention, through his long-term project Vanishing Berlin, to the fleeting landmarks of the Moabit and Wedding districts. Neighborhood pubs, firewalls, traditional shops, vacant lots, workshops, ghost signs and graffiti—places and traces of time that have guided us through these neighborhoods for decades, and are now increasingly disappearing from the urban landscape: everyday icons.
