Month of Art in Architecture 2026

Once again this year, June in the Mitte district is all about art-in-architecture. For a whole month, you can discover art-in-architecture artworks in the Mitte district and gain an insight into the complex creative processes behind such works.

Programme highlights: A new work of art-in-architecture will be unveiled again this year: The Mapquilt Tree by artist Stephanie Imbeau at the Anna-Lindh-Primary School in Wedding. And to round off the Month of Art in Architecture, a discussion on the current significance and future prospects of art in architecture will take place on 29 June at 6 pm at the Berlinische Galerie under the theme ‘Social asset or aesthetic accessory: Art in Architecture between potential and compromise’.

You are warmly invited!
