The exhibition *Heimspiel* provides an overview of the development of the artistic processes and strategies underpinning Simone Zaugg’s work, with a particular focus on her photographic oeuvre. In the spaces at Kurt-Kurt, visitors can observe and trace how the latent self-staging of her early works has given way to a self-assured appropriation of public spaces. The artist’s physical involvement is not only the starting point but also the subject of her artistic work, which addresses both personal and collective questions in dealing with socially relevant issues.
The human being is Simone Zaugg’s physical and psychological frame of reference and serves as a yardstick and seismograph in her work.
