Where is the art?
What forms of art are there?
What can it do?
What does it do for a neighbourhood or society?
And what does this have to do with you and the AktionsRaum?
A work of art is to be created for the new youth leisure centre and neighbourhood hub ‘AktionsRaum’ at Kongostraße 28, 13353 Berlin. We now need your help to select three artists, who will then be invited to take part in the art competition ‘Art for the New AktionsRaum Building’ in summer 2026.
Participation is free of charge.
The workshop will be held in German and is open to all children aged 8–16.

From 30 March 2026 to 1 April 2026, the three-day holiday workshop with the artist Bernd Trasberger will take place at AktionsRaum:

The Mitte District’s Commission for Art in Architecture and Art in Urban Space has shortlisted ten artists. On the third day of the workshop, three of these ten will be selected for the art competition.
