Kontaktaufnahme Leipziger Straße – a dialogue-based tour of art in the urban space I
KISR Leipziger Straße: Guided tours
24. Jun 2025
5.00–7.00 pm
Starting point:
Spitteleck / Wallstraße 1
10117 Berlin
Art in public spaces is never isolated. It always exists in relation to its surroundings: to the place, to the time, and to the people who encounter it – whether by design or by chance. Every artwork is an invitation to engage. And every glance, every conversation, is a response to it.
During the two-hour tour, we will discuss the three artworks created as part of the ‘Art in Urban Space: Leipziger Straße’ project (2023–2025), which establish contact in very different ways: with the city, with its stories, with us. They surprise, react and engage, move us – and challenge us.
“Establishing Contact: Leipziger Straße” is not a traditional guided tour. It is a shared walk, a conversation in the making. Connections emerge between the participants, between art and space – fleeting or lasting, quiet or contentious. A city walk as an invitation: to observe, to ask, to listen – and to establish contact.
Participation is free of charge.
